This article is a detailed summary of the history of the occultic secret society known as the “Illuminati,” which has membership of the most powerful bankers, politicians, and media on the planet. Information is drawn from Henry Makow’s books “Illuminati: The Cult that Hijacked the World” (2009) and it’s sequel “Illuminati 2: Deceit and Seduction” (2010), which are compilations of many short essays which Makow has previously published. An Introduction and Overview of the Illuminati

The Illuminati is an occultic secret society which controls the ruling establishments of Europe, America, and most of the rest of the world, being made up of powerful international bankers and Freemasons who control the world’s politics, finances and media. Their goal is to incrementally tighten their control over the rest of humanity’s mental, spiritual, and physical existence to enslavement levels via imposing a tyrannical world government.
The Illuminati has subverted powerful and seemingly benevolent organizations such as most political movements— especially Zionism, Communism, Nazism, Socialism, Liberalism, Neo-Conservatism, and Fascism; and they have also infiltrated every major religious organization to the highest levels. “By owning the leaders on both sides and the media, they start all major wars and determine their outcome. They are responsible for revolutions, depressions, and more recently 9-11 and the 'war on terror' — pretexts for more war and a police state.” (I, 10)
“The central banking cartel scripts both history and culture according to a long-term plan. Cartel members are generational Satanists, Cabalist Jews and Freemasons. Their object is to induct mankind into their cult as their servants or slaves. ... Their main instrument is war which they contrive for profit and power. They engineer a vast credit expansion for war, and later for reconstruction.” (II, 8)
The Illuminati promoted “democracy” to transfer power from the old order of hereditary aristocracy and the Church to the power of finance capital which they now entirely own and control. Illuminati bankers incrementally seized control of the creation of government credit for the governments of the world, and they need to implement a totalitarian world government in order to protect their credit monopoly from countries defaulting on their “debt” or creating their own debt-free and interest-free money. “Modern 'civilization' is a fraud based on this one underlying fraud.” (II, 10)
The Illuminati bankers covertly support wide-ranging efforts to teach the populace that God doesn’t exist, but they themselves do believe in God and they take their religion very seriously. They know the difference between right and wrong but deliberately flaunt morality by equating “good” with their lust for power. They say “Might makes Right,” “The End Justifies the Means,” they care “not so much with what is good and moral as to what is necessary and useful.”
Historians, educators, and journalists collaborate to present a false reality and distract us from the truth. The illuminati believes that the Messiah will come when people either become righteous or totally corrupt, so they opted for debauchery with the reasoning “since we cannot all be saints, let us all be sinners.”
Most of the world’s leaders are junior members of this international cult. These leaders are kept in line through blackmail by being made to take part in occult rituals including human sacrifices, sexual orgies, pedophilia, rape, torture, and murder.
“Like a security beam, Illuminati tyranny is invisible until you cross it. Then, doors silently close and positions of influence are denied. If you persist, you are slandered, bankrupted, or even killed. In the future, truth tellers and dissenters will be denied access to credit and trade. There are a million Illuminati members in the US alone, comprised of people from all religious backgrounds and walks of life. The Illuminati cult is organized on the international, national, regional, and local levels, where at the local level exists “cells,” “families,” or “covens” which are comprised of 13 individuals, which each cell having a “Father” who serves as the High Priest. “The term 'Illuminati' means 'enlightened ones' and refers to Lucifer, the 'light bringer.' Its essential philosophy is to substitute 'reason' (i.e. expedience) for what was called 'right reason' (i.e. universal morality.)” (I, 82) The Illuminati defines Lucifer as a “Group Soul” or “Social Memory Complex” which has evolved to be equal or higher than God.
“'Do as thou wilt' (i.e. 'tolerance') was the Freemason-Illuminati motto. The Illuminati will define reality, not God or nature. Illuminism or 'humanism’ is a secular religion and a transition to Satanism. The decline of public decency makes this increasingly apparent. Look for the world to increasingly resemble the game 'Grand Theft Auto' or a Hollywood horror or disaster movie.” (I, 82)
“Hiroshima, Dresden, Auschwitz, Cambodia and Rwanda were sacrifices to their Satanic god. They are responsible for two world wars, the Depression and the cold war. Sept. 11, the 'War on Terror' and the Iraq War are their latest achievements.” (I, 66)
“The elite plan is to remake the planet as its private neo feudal preserve. This involves the reduction of the world’s population through plague, catastrophe or war; mind control / breeding of the survivors as serfs; and the elevation of Lucifer as god.” (I, 81)

The comprehensive book “Surviving the Cataclysm - Your Guide Through the Greatest Financial Crisis in Human History” by Webster Griffin Tarpley offers an excellent view of the inner workings of the US and world economy that is often concealed by the establishment media, and in the process the book hilights the futility of Barack Obama's current economic strategies while outlining an effective plan for bringing the world out of it’s worsening depression and into economic growth and prosperity.

Preface to the 2009 Edition
The 17 page preface to the 2009 edition explains a five part program for overcoming the world economic depression while defining four commonly identified economic philosophies which could potentially be implemented. It is explained why only one of the four philosophies would be sufficient to bring about necessary growth and prosperity through emphasising lending to mobilize the country’s industrial base for large scale infrastructure improvement programs.

Obamanomics: Cash for Trash: $12.8 Trillion for Wall Street
This chapter describes how the Obama regime is doing exactly the opposite of what would be needed to pull the US economy out of it’s depression and start an actual economic recovery. A period of financial panic started during 2007 and 2008 which lead to failures of many financial institutions, and the panic has been centered around a $1.5 quadrillion derivatives bubble which is currently astronomically multiplying losses. The most reasonable course of action would now be to restart the manufacturing and industrial sectors of the United States through rebuilding the country’s infrastructure and making technological progress, while also implementing regulations to prevent further abuses of the financial markets.
Chapter 1: Prologue to the 2009 Edition: Emergency Economic Recovery Program
This chapter is from an article written January 21, 2008 which contains 21 key points of a strategy toward stopping the current economic depression and creating economic recovery. Points mentioned include enacting laws to stop foreclosures until the end of the depression; raising the federal minimum wage; imposing taxes on Wall Street financial transactions; nationalizing the Federal Reserve; implementing Federally sponsored infrastructure projects; comprehensive re-regulation of the financial and banking system including a revival of the Glass-Stegal legislation; eliminating NAFTA and the WTO; along with many other suggestions.
Chapter 2: No to the Paulson-Bernanke Derivatives Bailout
This chapter is an article written September 23, 2008, which describes the bailout being pushed through Congress by Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, and other officials of the Bush regime with the help of Nancy Pelosi, Majority Leader Harry Reid, and others as being a “monstrosity for the ages, combining every hideous feature of monetarism, elitism, oligarchism, and sheer feckless incompetence.” Tarpley stresses the importance of blocking the bailout, gives much information about specifics of the economic problems, explains why the bailout is ineffective, and explains what strategies would be more suitable to creating economic recovery.
Chapter 3: Force the Fed to Open a Main Street Lending Facility
This chapter was originally an article written October 2, 2008 explaining that the Federal Reserve System is supposed to be an engine of credit for the American economy and it must be forced into serving the needs of the US economy rather than “catering to the whims of anonymous cliques of unelected and unaccountable parasitical financiers and bankers.” It is explained that abundant credit should be supplied for production and commerce while preserving the system of local and regional banks by forcing the Fed to open a “main street lending facility” where producers of all kinds can receive immediate credit at between .5% and 1% interest to keep the economy going. It is explained how such lending is currently only reserved for parasitical speculative financiers and bankers. Also it is explained why a need exists for a modern equivalent of FDR’s Lend-Lease program, but not for war production this time but rather to re-start the collapsing domestic economy and move the country to full employment.
Chapter 4: End the Fed - End Wall Street Bankster Rule
This chapter explains why it is important to abolish the unconstitutional and illegal Federal Reserve System through nationalizing it. Currently the Fed is a privately owned bank that has been damaging the US economy for almost 100 years by setting interest rates and the amount of money supply from behind closed doors, leading to de-industrialization, impoverishment, and a world economic and financial depression. It is explained how the Fed caused the crash of 1929, did nothing to stop the banking panic of 1932-33, and is the main cause of the $1.5 quadrillion derivatives bubble which is currently devastating the world economy. Abolishing the Fed is a major step to re-industrialization, economic modernization, full employment, and rising standards of living for all people.
Chapter 5: Statement to the G-20 Summit, London, April 2, 2009
This chapter was originally an article written March 22, 2009, which explains that the US is rapidly sinking into a catastrophic world economic depression brought on by de-industrialization along with privatization and deregulation of financial markets. The biggest cause of the economic problems is the $1.5 quadrillion derivatives bubble, which should be frozen and neutralized due to being “fictitious” capital which destroys production.

This video segment from the documentary “Behind the Big News” describes how the powerful political organization the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) controls and distorts information put out by mainstream news sources in order to protect wide ranging corrupt Establishment interests and objectives. Issues discussed include the CFR being founded in 1921 by J.P. Morgan, the fact that most major individuals in the news media are members of the organization, the CFR’s globalist objectives which include strongly supporting the spread of Communism around the world, corruption concerning Bill Clinton’s presidency being covered up by the media, and issues with the “false left / right paradigm.”

In 1917, Congressman Oscar Callaway entered a statement into the U.S. Congressional Record, revealing that J.P. Morgan hired twelve high ranking news managers who were asked to determine which were the most influential newspapers in America in order to decide how many newspapers it would take “to control generally the policy of the daily press of the United States.” They found that it was only necessary to purchase the control of 25 of the major papers, and Morgan bought the policy of the papers and placed an editor at each ensure that all published information was “keeping with the new policy.” Soon, that policy would be defined by a “front group” formed by J.P. Morgan and his colleagues, called the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).
Today the CFR states it’s goal as being “to increase the understanding of the world,” however the actual objectives of this exclusive organization are revealed by the insiders themselves, such as in writings by CFR insider and Georgetown University Professor Carroll Quigley, who stated that the CFR aims to “create a world system of financial control, in private hands, able to dominate the political system of each country, and the economy of the world as a whole”— in short, they seek total and quiet control of the entire world.
CFM members include America’s wealthiest people as well as the highly placed elite in government, academic institutions, tax-exempt foundations, and the Establishment media. News reporters who are CFR members do not only analyze and interpret foreign policy for the Unites States, they also help make it. Members of the media who are CFR members include NBC’s Tom Brokaw, CBS’s Dan Rather, ABC’s Barbara Walters, PBS’s Jim Lehrer, William F. Buckley of the National Review, and Media Mogul Rupert Murdoch. Powerful corporations and their CEOs are also members, with the CFR presiding over major consolidations of media companies including Disney, AOL, and Time Warner.
One of the CFR’s strongest Allies is the New York Times, which is a major outlet for the viewpoints of the Establishment which sets trends that other newspapers then follow.
In the early 1930’s, Americans received much of their news about life in the Soviet Union by Walter Duranty, who was the New York Times “Man in Moscow.” During that period, Joseph Stalin was consolidating power over the regions of the Soviet Union, and he forced the relocation of millions of Ukrainians to the most barren regions of Sibera with more than a million dying, which British journalist Malcolm Muggeridge accurately reported happening but was dismissed by Duranty as “bunk,” and “sheer absurdity.” Between 1932 and 1933, more than 7 million Ukrainians perished when Stalin seized their entire grain crop for export, but Duranty only reported “There is no actual starvation or deaths from starvation, but there is widespread mortality from diseases due to malnutrition.” Ultimately the New York Times coverup of Stalin’s crimes helped the Communist Regime gain diplomatic recognition by the United States, and Duranty received the Pultizer Prize for his coverage.
Herbert Matthews is another Pulitzer Prize winning correspondent who has also covered up the truth for perpetuating Collectivism, such is in the late 1930s when Communists in Spain brutally massacred more than six thousand priests, friars, and nuns, he reported the Communists as being “idealistic democrats seeking to liberate Spain from tyranny” without mentioning the Communist atrocities. Later, when the Times dispatched Matthews to report about Cuba, he painted a romantic and idealistic picture of the obscure revolutionary Fidel Castro, saying he was definitely not a Communist. It is often said that “Castro got his job through the New York Times.” After Castro took power, he killed many of the people who were his “internal opposition” through firing squads that operated day and night. Incredibly, Matthew’s reaction to hearing about Castro’s actions was “Youth must sow its wild oats.” Despite his blatantly pro-Communist stance, the Times kept Matthews on staff for over 45 years.
The establishment media’s support of journalists such as Matthews and Duranty points to a larger globalist agenda of legitimizing Communism.
William F. Jasper explains issues with Communism, saying that every Communist country was an “economic basket case” which could not produce enough to survive, so every Communist state including Russia had been dependent on aid from Capitalist producing states. He also mentions that Communism is actually the greatest concentration of government, being rule by an Oligarchic elite few, which is what Council on Foreign Relations insiders have been pushing to be spread throughout the world during the past century.
In 1968 during the Vietnam war, the North Vietnamese launched what was called the “TET Offensive,” where attacks were coordinated in the Cities of South Vietnam. The attacks had been quite effectively pushed back by the American forces, however the media including Walter Cronkite reported the attacks as being proof that America could not win in Vietnam. After the war, even Truong Nhu Tang, who was the Vietcong Former Minister of Justice gave an interview confirming that the American media completely misreported what had happened during the Tet Offensive in order to make it appear as an American defeat.
During the Monika Lewinsky scandal that occurred during the Clinton Administration, a “vast right wing conspiracy” was blamed for Clinton’s problems, although most of the public knows only a very small percentage of the actual corruption associated with the Clintons. The Lewinsky issue was really just an excuse to impeach Clinton for a variety of other much more serious offenses that the Public mostly is not aware of, such as “Chinagate,” in which the Chinese government gave the Democratic party and Clinton campaign millions of dollars in exchange for a tremendous amount of high tech weapons systems, economic concessions, and privileged access to top U.S. officials, which would carry impeachable charges of bribery and treason. The media continually focused almost exclusively on the fact that Clinton lied about sex rather than many other serious issues, such as more than a dozen of Clinton’s appointees, business associates, and close friends being convicted of felonies since he assumed office in 1993.
Carroll Quigley, who was one of Bill Clinton’s mentors, wrote “The two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shift in policy.”
When Jimmy Carter was running for President, he was given preferential treatment by the mainstream media and portrayed as an outsider to the Establishment. One of his favorite themes was if he was elected that he would bring new faces and ideas to Washington, saying “The people of this country know from bitter experience that we are not going to get these changes merely by shifting around the same group of insiders.” After he won the election, however, he filled his Administration with many of the same members of the CFR who have been running the country for decades. President of the John Birch Society John F. McManus explains that wether it is Democrats or Republicans in office, most of the same people are running the country behind the scenes, and the globalist agendas of the administrations do not actually change.

Many people are led to believe that the recent bailout is only from $3 to $5 trillion dollars, however the Federal Reserve has actually created another $8 to $10 trillion dollars so far, while being unaccountable and without informing Congress or the people where all of the money is going. In actuality it is not a "bailout" but rather "financial terrorism". A controlling group the Illuminati has a motto "out of chaos is order," a historical example being what happened during the French Revolution where economies were destroyed for the purpose of the ruing elite consolidating power. What is happening now is the greatest transfer of wealth in all of history, and all of the middle class is being robbed as we speak. Wealth cannot be created by creating more debt, yet 90% of the bailout money is going to financial institutions despite being unconstitutional. The amount of the bailout does not even come close to the amount of "toxic" derivatives which exist, which could be from $300 to $900 trillion dollars, and the bailout money does not even pay the interest on such derivatives. Fundamental points made in the United States Constitution stress the importance of "real money" and having the governmental system control the process. What has been happening is an unsustainable cycle which is nearing it's end, but it might be possible to change the direction of the destruction if enough people organize.

The Federal Reserve then lends the money to Federal Reserve regional banks which lend the money to other banks, which then lend the money out at a nine-to-one level. When the Federal Reserve gets the money back it puts it in it's "reserves" and lends that money out again, which makes their "book value" appear to be 72 times the original amount they have in it— and it all starts with nothing— just paper and ink.

Executive Order 11921 — Allows the Federal Emergency Preparedness Agency to develop plans to establish control over the mechanisms of production and distribution, of energy sources, wages, salaries, credit and the flow of money in U.S. financial institution in any undefined national emergency. It also provides that when a state of emergency is declared by the President, Congress cannot review the action for six months ( and PDD51 says “Never”). The Federal Emergency Management Agency has broad powers in every aspect of the nation.
— When a new Administration takes over the Presidency, old executive orders are reauthorized as new executive orders— expanding their unconstitutional power.
— In 1987, The Miami Herald wrote about the existence of a “Secret Government,” and a plan to take over the United States government using martial law with Dick Cheney and others to be in charge. During the Iran Contra hearings, Congressman Jack Brooks brought up the fact that Oliver North was involved in the plans for the secret government which would suspend the Constitution, and Brooks was told that he could not mention it because it is a national security issue.
— Throughout history, criminals take control of government and use phony crisis to enslave the public, and currently the American establishment is forwarding increasingly exploitive financial strategies in order to take control of society, which is the reason that they are preparing for martial law and taking control of the media. The criminal behavior of the bankers should be punished, and the plans for the associated national security state where total tyranny is empowered and people are arrested for their speech should be exposed. Either the situation will go into tyranny of liberty.
— Presidential Directive 51 (PDD51) gives the President dictatorial power during any emergency including an economic emergency, and Congress is not involved in the continuity of government despite normally being co-equal with the President and the courts.
— During the economic crisis of 2009, PDD51 was implemented and it continues to be implemented to this day, and members of Congress such as Senator James Inhofe were told in a conference call by Henry Paulson that marital law would be declared in the United States if they don’t hand total control and immunity over to the banks and supply $700 billion in bailout money to the banks. Congress followed orders and did it. Congress is not even allowed to see the plans due to the fact that the plans are currently being implemented.
— Footage of Congressman Peter DeFazio is shown where he explains that the entire Homeland Security Committee has been denied access to the classified detailed plans to provide continuity of government:
“They say 'trust us.’ Trust us?.. The people who brought us Katrina? .. To be competent in the face of disaster? Trust Us? The people who brought us warrantless wiretapping and other excesses eroding our civil liberties? Trust Us? Maybe the plan just doesn’t exist, and that’s why they won’t show it to us, I don’t know.. or maybe there is something there that is outrageous. The American people need their elected representatives to review this plan for the continuity of government.”
— The front page of PDD51 contains the definition: “’Catastrophic Emergency’ means any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government functions.”
— Obama has created an “Establishment of the Council of Governors” which states that the governments of the States, including the police forces, are being taken under the control of Northcomm ( which is the Pentagon ) and Homeland Security. The President will appoint ten members— five Democratic governors and five Republican governors, but it will be a similar situation to when Bush appointed the 9/11 Commission, or when Janet Reno appointed her own Waco investigation.
— The RAND Corporation’s plan “A Stability Police Force for the United States— Justification and Options for Creating U.S. Capabilities” has already been covertly implemented in the last fifteen years, and now it is being implemented more openly. It contains plans about how to run police forces of all different sizes.
— It is explained that while what is happening is a “power grab” by Obama, he is actually being instructed to do so from higher up— Obama is a “minion or front man” just like Bush was. It is the “system” that is pulling the strings for big privately owned central banks.
— In 1986 under “Rex 84,” twelve secret army labor camps were opened for testing purposes ( and it has since doubled to 24 ). Federal prisoners would be given a few years off of their sentences if they opted to go to the camps and agree not to disclose the circumstances of the camps. Under the revised military rules, any U.S. Citizen could be put into such a camp under forced labor in the Civilian Inmate Labor Program. For 11 years the FEMA camps were kept secret while they were being tested using state and federal prisoners.
— Many decommissioned military bases that have been shut down are in the process of being converted to be FEMA camps.
— National compulsory service under HR1444 has been re-introduced.
— A seven million person DoD Civilian Expeditionary Workforce in Pentagon Directive 1404.10 has been passed, containing the following language:

The globalist establishment has been quietly allowing undocumented immigrants to be accommodated by design in the United States during the past few decades, through many of them being allowed to work and live in the country with benefits as a stepping stone toward a secretive plan to eventually form a North American Union which is planned to merge the economies and populations of Mexico, United States, and Canada. Undocumented immigration greatly increased during the recent Bush Administration when the population of immigrants had at least doubled despite the country supposedly being under threat of terrorist attack. Official census numbers of such immigrants are 11 million, but many estimates are 20 million or more.
A strong likelyhood exists of new controversial immigration legislation in Arizona to have been made intentionally invasive in order to make the issue divisive and distracting. John McCain and other globalist establishment Republicans have come out claiming to support the legislation despite their having a history of supporting undocumented immigration behind the scenes in the past, similar to how evidence suggests that McCain and Sarah Palin had been establishment “ringers” put in place to intentionally throw the Presidential Election to Barack Obama.
Most immigrants are peaceful and appreciative to have an opportunity to live and work in the United States, but many are not law abiding and the configuration of the situation is unsustainable and is increasingly causing more problems for society.

The news outlet Democracy Now! has posted an article and archived interview on its website of Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzalez speaking with CNN anchor Lou Dobbs concerning the issue of undocumented immigration, giving a false impression that Dobbs is an inaccurate and racist journalist, without mentioning that Dobbs had answered the criticism during the interview.
A link on the homepage leads to a distorted article entitled "The Dubious Mr. Dobbs," and another link elsewhere on the site links to an “in between” page which contains only certain brief and distorted points from a December 2007 interview concerning issues of undocumented immigration, and it is then necessary to click on another link to reach the page containing the actual audio interview which is buried behind ten minutes of outdated news stories on the audio clip. (Incidentally one of the news stories criticizes George Bush for his use of extraordinary rendition, torture, and denying Habeas Corpus— all of which are practices that the Obama Administration is continuing, as well as his administration supporting renewal of Bush-era Patriot Act provisions which were enacted in response the September 11 attacks.)
The issue of undocumented immigration is complicated and controversial, and many are led to believe that it is bigoted to mention the issue at all, even for those who would like undocumented workers to be given a path to citizenship. Such attitudes are often intentionally reinforced by media outlets in order to conceal little-known bigger picture globalist agendas such as the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP), the implementation of the NAFTA Superhighway system, and the upcoming North American Union (NAU).
Many people are under the impression that undocumented immigration issues are not deeper than issues concerning people living and working in the country without officially being citizens and having potential of being exploited, but a bigger picture also exists of long-term globalist agendas being implemented for fully consolidating the populations, highways, militaries, and monetary systems of the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Although many people are somewhat aware of this agenda, often they are not aware of the drawbacks associated with it— including current U.S. Constitutional rights being superseded by new repressive international laws, further deindustrialization of the United States and conversion to a “feudalistic” type of managed economy which is controlled by international banks that are privately owned by a handful of unelected globalist elite individuals, among many other issues. It is shown that highly influential political organizations such as the Ford Foundation and the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) are strong backers of news outlets such as Democracy Now! and NPR— with both outlets having a highly tasteful cultivated image and influential audiences, and such outlets often abuse their status through disseminating disinformation concerning important globalism related issues. But at the very moment of that speech, DynCorp was exposed for having been involved in the buying and selling of young women and children. While all of this was going on, DynCorp kept the Pentagon contract to administer the smallpox and anthrax vaccines, and is now working on a plague vaccine through the Joint Vaccine Acquisition Program. Mr. Secretary, is it [the] policy of the U.S. Government to reward companies that traffic in women and little girls?”
Cynthia McKinney: “Finally Mr. Secretary, after the last Hearing, I thought that my office was promised a written response to my question regarding the four wargames on September 11th. I have not yet received that response, but would like for you to respond to the questions that I’ve put to you today. And then I do expect the written response to my previous question - hopefully by the end of the week.”

They’re generally not barred in perpetuity -”
