This broadcast by television station KTVU shows video footage of the shooting of 22 year old Oscar Grant by a Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) police officer in an Oakland California subway station on New Years Day, 2009. Two separate individuals caught the incident on video.

Grant was pulled from the train along with several other men by police officers after a report of a fight. Three other men were handcuffed, and Grant was cooperative and laying on the ground while being held down by the police officers. The videos then show one of the officers standing, pulling his pistol from his holster and firing a shot into Grant's back, killing him.
