This video demonstrates the Department of Homeland Security “Future Attribute Screening Technology,” or “F.A.S.T.” mobile laboratory, which “streamlines the screening process at security checkpoints” through electronic “physiological and behavioral screening technologies.” The video claims that the laboratory “allows security officials to quickly and efficiently establish security boundaries at any location, making it useful for every such as large sporting events, border crossings, or airports.”
The laboratory is shown being used to quesion citizens while electronically monitoring their responses to questions such as “are you planning on smuggling an explosive device into the expo today?”, “are you attempting to smuggle a recording device into the expo today?”, and “have you been in the local area all day today?”
